We have so many reasons to smile. Our Democratic Majority has governed for nearly six months, thanks in large part, to Young Democrats across the country. As the Young Democrats of America’s national reputation grows, we have the potential to impact every level of government.
With YDA firmly at the helm of the expanding youth voter movement, it is crucial that we, as an organization, allocate our resources to best maintain this momentum and prepare ourselves for the challenges ahead.
If elected, I will:
Develop a budget that efficiently and accurately reflects YDA’s priorities and goals. The YDA budget must be structured to empower Young Democrats at every level of the organization.
Manage YDA’s resources to ensure that YDA can effectively execute existing chapter building and campaign programs, while developing new programs to support national, state and local efforts. Our success depends on our ability to set priorities, manage our resources and execute our goals.
Coordinate with YDA leaders and staff to raise funds critical to supporting YDA programming, campaign and advocacy efforts. As the driving force in promoting and empowering the youth vote, YDA is in a unique position to warrant support from like-minded organizations.
As Treasurer, I will work tirelessly to ensure that YDA is best equipped to reach its goals. I hope I can count on your support!
