Dear Young Democrats,

We have so many reasons to smile. Our Democratic Majority has governed for nearly six months, thanks in part, to Young Democrats across the country. As the Young Democrats of America's national reputation grows, we have the potential to enormously impact every level of government.

With YDA situated front and center of the expanding youth voter movement, it is crucial that we, as an organization, allocate our resources to best maintain this momentum and prepare ourselves for the challenges ahead.

I am running for Treasurer of Young Democrats of America to ensure that YDA is best equipped to reach its goals. Our success depends on our ability to manage our resources and the YDA budget must be structured to empower Young Democrats at every level of the organization to keep the momentum going.

My experience in YDA makes me extremely qualified to serve as your national Treasurer. As Secretary of the Budget Committee, I have become familiar with YDA's budget process, as well as our national governance. By serving as Treasurer, Finance Director, and now as Vice President of the Arlington Young Democrats, I am acutely aware of the challenges local chapters face and what resources are critical to their success. Additionally, I serve as the first Treasurer of the YDA Jewish Caucus. In each of these leadership positions, I have proven my ability to manage a budget and responsibly fulfill the duties incumbent on each position.

I am proud to seek the office of Treasurer as part of the leadership team that David Hardt is spearheading for YDA. The Hardt Team recognizes the importance of incorporating local, state and regional perspectives into YDA's national governance, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with them to push YDA forward and build on our successes. This team boasts an impressive and diverse group of talent, and I am very proud to be a part of it. I look forward to talking with you in the coming months about what this team can do to improve the organization at every level.
